Organising favourites

Pin to the top

Pinned channels sit above everything else in a folder, in the order you pinned them.

   Open a favourites folder in the Live Guide, highlight a channel and hold OK.

   Choose Pin to top. The channel moves to the top of the folder. Hold OK on it again and choose Unpin to release it.

   

Move a channel anywhere

Pin puts a channel at the top. Move puts it wherever you like.

   Hold OK on a channel and choose Move. The channel lifts and the others dim. Press up or down to carry it — the guide follows — then OK to drop it, or Back to put it back where it was.

   Velo says Moved and the folder keeps its new order. Dropping a channel in among the pinned ones pins it too.

   

Give a folder an icon

   In the Live Guide, move left into the list of folders, highlight one and hold OK. Pick an icon, or Aa to show the folder's first letter.

   

Take a channel out

   Hold OK on a channel in a folder and choose Remove from “Sports” (the folder's name) — it leaves that folder and stays in any others. In a Live TV category, Remove from Favorites takes it out of every folder.

A whole category

For a category you open often, put the category itself in Favorites.

   Hold OK on a Live TV, Movies or Series category and choose Add to Favorites. The first time, Velo asks what to call these category shortcuts — Categories is fine.

   The category appears in Favorites next to your folders and opens like any category. Hold OK on it there to rename it or take it out again.

   

Manage Favorites and Favorites Fix

Settings → Content & Library.

   Manage Favorites lists every folder with how many channels it holds…

   …and press OK on one to Rename it, Change Icon or Delete it.

   Favorites Fix, just below, puts back missing channel pictures, repairs garbled channel names from your current lineup, and labels favourites your provider no longer carries UNAVAILABLE. Nothing is deleted.

Across your devices

1. 1

   With Cloud Sync connected, the order, pins and icons you set on one device appear on the others. The most recent change to a folder wins.
